Beryllium copper socket is more corrosion resistant than regular copper. Includes a 4-foot 16 gauge, SPT-2 tinned copper lead wire to reduce corrosion and increase fixture longevity. Machine threaded body screws tight onto an O-ring. Silicone plug at lead wire exit prevents ground moisture and insects from entering through the stem.
