Its maximum working pressure is 150 pounds per square inch (psi) (10.20 bar) in a temperature range of 35 to 300 degrees F (1.67 to 148.89 degrees C), and the bronze filter element is rated to 40 microns. This fitting is made of steel for better weldability and increased rust resistance than wrought iron and the nickel plating is corrosion resistant, ferromagnetic, maintains much of its strength at high temperatures, and stays tough and ductile at low temperatures.
