Great as a replacement for lost or damaged lids, Sea-Lect Designs Hatches are manufactured in the USA using the highest-quality Injection Molded Polymer which is UV resistant, and float when dropped in the water. Performance Hatches also feature our unique two-part construction for maximum protection, and are easy to attach while still offering a superior watertight seal. This VCP Oval Hatch is compatible with the Valley Canoe Products (VCP) oval hatch when mounted on an injection molded rim bolted/glued to the deck; not recommended for rotomolded kayaks that do not feature this rim. Mounting ring sold separately (see Amazon listings for Sea-Lect Designs Part # K745175-1); and when paired together with this hatch can create the perfect hatch system for anyone building a kayak and/or other water craft to which they want to add access or storage!
